After the success of its “Color Queen”, “Giardino” and “Pierreries” collections, and the multi-faceted “Jardins suspendus” charms embodying the terraces of the Amalfi Coast, it was natural for a brand like Mellerio to translate its inspiration in the same joyful, colorful vein to a range of commitment rings that are often classic and repetitive...
Famous for being the city of lovers and, more generally, of a poetic expression of Love, “Verone” is the mythical city and the name chosen by Laure-Isabelle Mellerio for this collection of three new engagement rings. A symbol of commitment before being an expression of religious attachment, the octagonal steeple of Verona’s San Stefano church has captivated Mellerio for all its originality and links with the House’s archives. Surrounding and highlighting a central 0.40-carat diamond mounted on an effect bezel, the new Verona ring is adorned with a choice of three color combinations that have become emblematic and Mellerio’s signature: the blue of sapphires is combined with the green of tsavorites, the orange of spessartites with that of purple sapphires, and the green of tsavorites with the soft pink of precious sapphires. In a way, the loved and pampered one finds herself the endearing queen of a newly captured heart in this Mellerio jewel.
