Since 1613, Mellerio has drawn inspiration from each century, creating the Muses collection, influenced by the Maison’s archives. For the first part of the collection, Laure-Isabelle Mellerio turned to the Renaissance, the period when Maison Mellerio was founded. The garden, a central theme of the 17th century, inspires iconic motifs found on fine jewelry necklaces drawings from archives of the 1830s.

In the 18th century, inspiration comes from one of Marie-Antoinette’s favorite flowers, the vanilla cactus, creating majestic and unique fine jewelry pieces. The varied color palette dedicated to this part of the collection demonstrates modernity and is appreciated for its elegance.

For the 19th century, Laure-Isabelle Mellerio delved into the Maison’s archives, finding a strong attraction to Art Nouveau. This era inspires women's necklaces adorned with various motifs. The 20th-century segment of the Muse collection is shaped by the sixties.
